The United Nation’s and Global Leadership

Beyond local projects, I have brought Indigenous and youth perspectives to the global stage, speaking at the United Nations to advocate for water justice and the meaningful inclusion of children and youth in international environmental policy. I have participated in treaty drafting and policy discussions, ensuring that youth voices are represented in decisions that shape our shared global environment.

Why is it important for children and youth to be in decision-making rooms?

Children and youth are among the first to be impacted by chemical, waste, and plastic pollution, yet they are rarely included in the drafting of international treaties that shape their futures.

Indigenous Peoples protect 80% of the world’s biodiversity, yet they are still not represented or recognized as sovereign nations within global decision-making systems.

With my technical background and culturally rooted knowledge of treaty processes, I learn, advocate, and build connections with global youth from around the world to advance inclusive, intergenerational decision-making.

Now, more than ever, it’s vital to bridge voices, experiences and expertise.
